Although Got7 went for a softer concept with their latest Korean comeback, “You Are,” they’re back to their brash antics with their latest Japanese single, “Turn Up,” released on Monday (Oct. 30). It’s a fitting song title for a group that is responsible for the most dabs in K-pop history #StopDabDab2k17. This is the title track from their second Japanese mini album, Turn Up , which is set to drop on Nov. 15. Fittingly, the song takes on an EDM mold, with blaring electronic sounds to complement their amped-up choreography. “Turn Up” has the obligatory triple hi-hats to spare, evoking the American hip hop from which the phrase “turn up” originates -- an interesting choice for promotions in an industry that is much less set on borrowing American culture than their home base in Korea. White Rock pier is featured in a hit new video by a Korean pop group called Twice . The video for their “Likey” song was shot at several locations in the Metro Vancouver area. In one scene, a member of the all-girl group is shown holding a sparkler on the White Rock pier as a train rushes by. Just one day after the video was posted to Youtube by JYP Entertainment, “Likey” had been viewed more than 13 million times. After a low-key romance that reportedly started in 2015, Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki got married in an intimate ceremony attended by family members and friends. The two—fondly called Song-Song couple by their fans—starred  in 2016’s hit drama series “Descendants of the Sun” and have remained discreet about their relationship, with barely any sightings of them going out on dates. In just hours a Korean music video featuring several Vancouver landmarks has racked up millions of views. A video for the K-pop song "Likey," by South Korean girl group Twice, garnered more than 5 million views by noon the day it was posted. The video had nearly 7 million views by 3 p.m. Vancouver's streets and skyline are the backdrop of the three-minute, 41-second video with English subtitles. The girl group sings "Fluttering heart, me likey, me likey" through a synchronized dance routine performed in various Vancouver alleys, stores and restaurants. The cobblestone streets of Gastown, pier in Steveston and the brightly-coloured interior of a SkyTrain also make appearances. And the outfit's debut solo NYC show was promoted as a "live and meet" fan experience than traditional concert.
